Feral cat advocates at work

Volunteers led by Alley Cat Allies gathered at the Meadows of Chantilly on July 26 to build feeding stations for outdoor cats there.

Feral cat advocates and several residents of the community put up a protest several months ago when the community management planned to euthanize cats there.

Alley Cat Allies, a national advocacy group for stray and feral cats, led volunteers who included Manassas-based Girl Scouts, according to a press release.
