Obituary

Vincent 'Jim' Silane

Died June 13, 2008
 

Vincent "Jim" Silane, 95, a retired dentist, died June 13 at his home in Reston, where he lived for the last 15 years.

Dr. Silane was born in New York City and lived there until he moved to Reston. He practiced dentistry in the Bronx, retiring at age 81.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mary T. Silane; two daughters, Marguerite Lambert of Reston, and Palma Makas of Orlando, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in New York, N.Y.
